REX 121
CPM REX 121 is a super steel produced by Crucibel using powder metallurgy methods. It is a high vanadium cobalt bearing tool steel designed to offer a combination of the highest wear resistance and attainable hardness.
This steel is all about extreme wear resistance and aggressive cutting properties. Rare and expensive material, it is a super hard powder steel with fine microstructure. You are basically cutting with carbides here. It feels very aggressive on the cutting board and doesn't take any hostages. Handle with care
